I took this photo to show that I was overcharged for a couple of organic cucumbers. I only wanted to save the woman at the "Customer Service" desk some walking, but she was so infuriated that I had dared to take a photo in her store that I decided that I might as well post it.

1) Why are organic cucumbers wrapped in plastic coverings that must be torn off and thrown away, filling space in a landfill somewhere?
2) Why do those cucumbers look like green penises in cheap condoms?
1: so that the bugs and dirt don't infect the produce that has been properly scrubbed and vaccinated.
2: they're cucumbers - that's just what they look like.
